Green Coloured Bangle With Reused Marine Debris
This green gold coloured bangle with reused marine debris has been hand crafted using bits of fishing and cast netting, fishing swivels and pieces of hard plastic, all cleared off local beaches.
The Bangle’s simple, yet stylish shape, allows the materials used in it to subsequently be effectively showcased and featured.
The key features of this bangle are the cast and fishing net, fishing tackle and plastic pieces, along with flakes of gold leaf.
We deliberately encased these pieces in bio resin that has swirls of green dye and a scattering of gold leaf as a foil to the synthetic materials.
By focusing on the plastic and synthetic trash, we have prioritized drawing attention to the impact plastics have on marine life in our oceans and seas across the world.
As a result, this bangle makes no apology for showcasing the trash we leave behind in our oceans.
A Green Coloured Bangle That Carries An Environmental Message.
Collected out of our waterways and rivers, the pieces of discarded cast and fishing net, rusty swivels and pieces of plastic are the key features in this unusual piece.
Hand collected, cleaned and processed, the piece has furthermore been featured as a deliberate environmental statement.

Hand Made With Love
Because we hand make each of our bangles, you may find slight imperfections.
This may be due to something in the resin sitting close to the surface and creating slight ripples or waves in the surface of the resin.
It may be that the micro plastics react with the resin and consequently cause slight clouding in spots.
There may even be a slight or small dimple caused by an air bubble.
We believe all these features show that, as a result, each of our pieces is hand made and therefore not produced in a factory or by machine. They also make each piece unique and quirky.
Care Of Your Green Coloured Bangle With Reused Marine Debris
Resin does gradually yellow with time due to exposure to UV. With this in mind, suggest storing it away from light when not being worn.
To clean your bracelet, simply wipe it over with a soft cloth.
