Unusual And Unconventional Jewelry in The Form Of A Bangle.

Our bangles are designed to showcase and raise awareness about man made synthetic wastes in our oceans, seas and waterways.

This particular piece features frayed cast and fishing net and rusty fishing swivels, all collected off local beaches or out of waterways.

Added into this bangle are swirls of translucent green dye.

We often deliberately include a small piece of natural organic beauty in our jewellery as a contrast to the man made synthetic materials and waste we recycle. In this case we’ve included some pieces of sea fern which had been caught up in tangled fishing line or netting found along the beaches.

By creatively recycling marine plastics [ in this case, synthetic cast and fishing netting and metal swivels] in a way that is both fun and fashionable, we aim to draw attention to the impact of our use of plastics.

A Hand Made, One Off Piece.

Each bangle we craft is a hand made and one off piece of wearable art. This particular piece features pieces of fishing and cast net along with rusty fishing swivels .

Using a bio resin, we aim to be as environmentally conscious as possible when making jewellery with resin.

Each piece incorporates and features man made marine debris which is collected, cleaned and sorted by hand – a time consuming and dirty process. We then go through several stages to hand craft each piece, from arranging the inclusions with thought, to pouring resin into the moulds over several phases.

We can confidently say this unique bangle has been made with love and care.
